The events listed here all have some kind of focus on women in music.  Some of these festivals haven’t happened recently.  Festivals are listed under “dormant festivals and events” at the bottom if they weren’t held in 2008 or 2009 (so far) and don’t appear to have plans to be held again.  Some of the events listed are still in planning.
